Using Conference feature in DACX CCS

Fixed Conference rooms:



l There are three fixed conference rooms,
■ 700
■ 701
■ 702
These are fixed conference rooms which are already inbuilt with DACX CCS. These conference rooms are open, without password authentication.

Additional Conference rooms:

l In addition to Fixed conference rooms, You can Create/Edit/Delete conference rooms using PBX Configurations menu under DACXM.
l Login into DACXM at https://<IP ADDRESS OF DACXM SERVER>:8000
l Click PBX Menu
l Click PBX Configurations Submenu.
l Click “CONFERENCES”.
l Click “Add Conference” to add a new conference room with options for authentication.
l Click respective conference room to edit or delete it.
l After Submitting the changes, Click GO BACK and Click Reload Configurations.


Using Conference rooms in DACX CCS:

l Using PBX Operator Panel:
■ After an extension is connected with a call, Click the extension phone icon and drag into Conference rooms listed on the right, in PBX Operator Panel.
■ In Similar way, Click and drag the other extensions who wish to take part in that conference.
l Using Dialpad:
■ After an extension is connected with a call, dial #1 to initiate the transfer and dial the desired conference room number, to transfer the connected phone line to conference room.
■ Hangup. Dial and invite the other people who wish to take part in that conference, then transfer the connected extensions into conference rooms as described above.
