IP Xchange: is a full-featured IP-PBX office phone system based on FreePBX offering. It offers complete call processing functionality, and is ideal for receptionist switchboard operations for the traditional circuit-switched enterprise phone system. It efficiently handles internal calls, and connects users to the external phone networks as well. Fully interoperable with most third party gateways, phones and telephony equipment, the innovative IP-PBX solution seamlessly integrates with TDM or VoIP telephony networks. The IP Xchange control panel has four main functionalities: Admin, Reports, Operator and User Console
Set Up consists of the following:
1. Admin - This can be used to check the PBX System Status and Module Admin.
2. Basic - Tab is subdivided into Administrators, Extensions, Feature Cods, general Settings, Outbound routes, and Trunks.
3. Inbound Call Control - Consists of functions such as Inbound Routes, Zap Channel DIDs, Blacklist, Day/Night Control, Follow Me, IVR, Queues, Ring Groups and Time Conditions.
4. Internal Options & Configuration has three main functions- Conferences, Music on Hold, and System Recordings.
5. System Admin - This functionality has a feature called Zaptel Configuration that assigns consecutive extension numbers to each ZAPTEL extension it detects. It is to be noted that this action shuts down and restarts your PBX. All existing calls are erased in this case.
